I was having issues driving and staying in second gear. It should be noted that changing a solenoid on an already burned transmission will not fix the transmission. The shift control solenoids and sensors contained within this kit can all be installed with the transmission in the vehicle during a routine fluid change. If you can take your finger and pull the band arm down more than a quarter inch most likely your band is shot and you need a my case it pulled down as far as it would go probably 2 inches on my front band nearest the front of the engine and about a quarter inch on the rear band gear.
