Lighting: Lights easily. When I need a lift out of the routine of my yard-weeds, Penzance reminds me why I pursue the gentle art in the first place. I believe that this is my favorite full English blend from Esoterica. Smoking boyz - light wait champ de. Every time I get around to a bowl of this I keep thinking I should have went with a more fulfilling smoke. Not an easy blend to find but I was fortunate to locate some in bulk. I strongly recommend this tobacco to anyone looking for that dark, complex after dinner blend. I combined my favorite aromatic (Lane's BCA - Black Cavendish), with Penzance to the ratio of 5:1 (BCA:Penzance). It stays lit very well, probably because there are less pockets when packing. This is definitely one of the best Balkans on the market. Fast forward two years and here I am, really enjoying this stuff. It'a not fruity, not sour, no citrusy, not hay-like. First of all, no tobacco can live up to the hype that surrounds this one. After as many reviews as this tobacco has already had I cant seem to think of anything to add but WOW this tobacco is in my normal rotation. I pledge to never run out of this amazing mystery of tobacco blending technology. Hard to get a hold you all know this.... Not much to add to the review, a one of a kind classic. We used to swap shots between drinks, or drinks between shots, whichever you like. I really wanted to like this blend, and tried really hard to do so. With nearly 300 reviews I don't have much to add. Why another Penzance review? Not for the faint of heart. Other latakia blends that I have smoked have been so strong that I could not enjoy them beyond a little taste at a time.
It is good... a panacea for tobacco hunger. The slices can be rubbed out from a rough consistency to a near powder. After much waiting, I finally got an 8 ounce bag of this fine blend. It has a mild bite, but if smoked slowly it is not noticeable. The wrapping paper has little oil absorbed in it. I do recommend you to try, because I am in the minority, but in a word- bitter. The gal on the other end said "Yeah, so, I've got a two-ounce tin of Penzance here – are you interested"? The taste is crème de latakia, and under the influence of a good shot of scotch, the taste takes on a number of exotic dimensions, probably due to its Turkish and Cyprian ingredients.
This is truly a darn near perfect smoke. Incense, very faint. Young Thug, Gunna and Wheezy have collaborated many times, and most notably joined forces on Gunna's 2019 song "3 Headed Snakes, " on which the three collaborators celebrate their friendship and their success.
