I'm definitely glad I decided to read "The Denial of Death, " because it's given me more to think about than any nonfiction book I can recall. That's an interesting idea, but Becker makes a steaming mess of it. According to Ernest Becker there is a thin line between the madman/woman and the genius. This is Becker's opinion, not Rank's.
