We recently purchased a new covered trailer to haul our 3-wheel motorcycle on long trips. Spare time mount and jack are of high quality. My trailer came with a carrier rack on the back that held the spare tire. I also had to buy longer bolts as my trailer has a 5 inch frame, I knew about this when I ordered, not an issue.
It was an easy installation onto the hitch, but very difficult putting the heavy tire on afterwards. I changed the rear gas tank from 16 gallons to one that is 38 gallons for long distance off road travel. One thing we found was with the spare tire mounted on the rear bumper, it interfered with our bicycle rack and our cargo carrier when we needed to carrier our generator. Etrailer recommended the Mount-n- Lock HiLo Hitch receiver and the etrailer Hitch Mounted Spare Carrier and the combination worked out very nice for us. This is well made and solid, but, is very loose in the receiver hitch. It's lightweight – The much heavier weight of steel puts an additional load on your brakes, alignment, and suspension; meaning lost performance. Bolt on item – requires no drilling through your door. Mounted from the hinges, and easy to install - this OHV accessory makes the ProMaster that much more capable. To fix the second problem, I have a sturdy rag rapped around the post. My only concern is the bolts mount "inward" toward the boat. 5 truck tire and steel wheel is heavy- running in excess of 160 lbs. Compatible with back up sensors.

Tire rack is only available for the driver-side. This makes placing relatively large tires (16" 8-lug wheels in my case) difficult. After a quick search on [online store] I found your spare tire bracket. This spare tire carrier also allows me to tow my other vehicles or trailer. The RackEm RA-16 works fairly well, but has a couple of design flaws, both of which have been noted by other reviewers: 1. Somehow I found this one made for RV's and it's perfect!
The Rover Vans Ram Promaster Rear Door Ladder and Tire Carrier is completely bolt on and requires no drilling through your camper van. On our first long trip up north from Florida, we realized we better get a spare IN CASE. Getting it up there was such a hassle that it is going to stay there unless I need it as a spare. I mounted a wheel spacer to it so I can mount/dismount the tire without bolts falling out. It fits snugly up to the back without hitting anything and doesn't protrude out too far. Use the largest anchor screws that you can, I recommend gluing your anchors into your trailer's wood paneling, if applicable.
This item bolts to the front of the Deluxe Box and allows you to add your Molle pouches and other hook-and-loop fastener attachments to it providing you even more space. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. For such a simple device, it is very expensive. The OHV ProMaster Ladder Tire Carrier allows you to bring along the fun when you're out on the road in your RAM ProMaster Adventure Vehicle Camper Van. If you have a lot to carry or bulky items, then the deluxe box is for you. I like the carrier enough that I will modify it to fit my RV and would recommend etrailer update the description. That's my only complaint. The bolt pattern in one direction is 4 1/2" and the bolt pattern in the other direction is 3 1/2" (inside hole to inside hole) so it will not fit on my 4"x4" RV bumper without modification. You can swap out multiple accessories such as our Rotopax mounting bracket and Expo Pro Kit without having to drill new holes in your box. I am quite satisfied with the way it turned out, very stable and it looks good.

The offset on these wheels would not allow it's use, the wheels are too deep. If it weren't for these two issues, I would have rated the product a 5.. Add this plate to the front, side, or inside of our Deluxe Box.
