As you read through the book's pages the inital shock factor wears off and you are left with a curious feeling of resignation. No genetic modification is made to their brains, and we can infer that the intellectual potential of an average head is still that of an average human. Right it's gross but boring. I think, overall, this book felt incomplete to me and that's my biggest gripe. Some chapters also felt fragmented and out of place so it took some getting used to this style of writing.
