There is also a suspenseful climax which fits in really nicely with the story, and which had my heart racing, but again had me laughing. I had a great time reading the book. I don't even know where to start because I loved everything about the book. Unfortunately for Naomi, her evil doppelganger has not at all changed.
Like Naomi muses a few times, what on earth is in the drinking water there, they sure don't make the blokes like this round our way! But her frown turned upside down when she was introduced to her adorable 11-year-old niece, Waylay, and agrees to become her guardian, even though she's not sure how she will manage. This is the first book I've read by Lucy Score, but if her other books are even half as entertaining as this one, I'll be reading more. Mainly because there were times if I hadn't had Knox's POV, I think I might have hated him. There's a reason local barber Knox doesn't do complications or high-maintenance women, especially not the romantic ones. I got choked up with emotion and ate up all the drama.

We've read Lucy Score before and fallen in love with her words, but this is our favourite by this Author, and we cannot wait for Nash and Lucien's books now! He was Jekyll and Hyde, gaslighting and mistreating her over and over and yet she still fell in love. This book is a grumpy/sunshine small town romance with great characters and interesting side characters who will probably get their own stories one day! Tina leaves Naomi with something unexpected after taking Naomi's car and money. And my gosh all the characters were just so fun and likeable.
