NJA: I prefer pot calls over diaphragm calls because I have never found a mouth call that comfortably fits my high, narrow palate. Because a diaphragm call requires control to use it effectively–with both the amount of pressure you use to press the call against the roof of your mouth and the volume of air you push through it to produce different tones—it is the most difficult type of call to master.
