Re: '88 TBI, 350, oil gauge going crazy! It's actually pretty simple: it measures the pressure of oil in an engine and displays it on a dial or digital display. When I stop and let it idle the oil gage bounces big time up and down and and very fast as well like a trigger or something. The gauge flicker has also diminished but whalebird may be correct on the "old style gauges and wiring" for a final fix. The OPRV is just a dumb spring. The '88 is always a solid 5~.
