I have had concerns about the adapter putting to much axial load on the crank, and without the Timken setup, side loading may be to extreme. I just got the charging system installed and I'm hoping to get the flywheel mounted to the Harley engine this weekend. Subaru engine to vw transmission adapter. They said they would check their contacts in Germany. I plan to somewhat replicate the early 30's MG M-Type with open wheels. But i think the kit is more for some one building a trike. I've been in my share of traffic jams with the Ghia on hot days, but interestingly enough, they cool down when idling. This is an adapter kit for a VW transaxle.
