I know this is hard for people to do, but I don't understand why it's so hard, when it's so obvious. Additionally, the topic of religion is brushed upon but not in a favorable light. What can these two have in common? An idea which draws its power from the intriguing absurdity of it. Of love, that love knows no gender, no race, no body size, and all that hackneyed shit. It tackles a lot of different things, as each person (host body) is unique. What did beyonce do to her face. Tomorrow is another day! Oh, and what do A's hosts remember about having hosted A? This book is a hit or miss type of book and while I understand a lot of the criticisms it gets I quite enjoyed it. Overall, it was a really enjoyable, hard at times but easy to digest, read, which is more than just a chick flick. A never leaps into the same person twice.
Luckily, a caring nurse slips Ciara a note which contains directions on how to get to a chemist who might help them. The point is, she should be allowed to make her own mistakes, if mistakes they truly are. Which is much more a sign of character than mere niceness. "A" reeks of the typical Nice Guy. Before long, Raj finds himself two-timing both Beyonce and Ciara. The way he looks at the world and portrays it on the page pumps and inspires new life and energy in my heart. Well, it depends on what the plot needs. Be thankful that tonight when you sleep, you are the same person tomorrow- that you'll have today, tomorrow and many more tomorrows with the ones you love because there is this teeny tiniest possibility that somewhere out there, someone's life is as ephemeral as that of A's and to tell you honestly, there is nothing I would envy of his (or her) life. And there are MORE entities like this out there. And what happens if a host dies while A is in possession? Wouldn't he want to wake up in the morning and still be here, wouldn't he want to have Rhiannon in his life forever?
He reminds us that no matter how bright, well adjusted socially, athletic, talented,... no teen is 100% comfortable in their own skin at all times. Much of the storyline focuses on gender and orientation rather than acceptance of each person. I think I hated this book, even though I was drawn into it like a moth to a flame. Shocked and bewildered, Ciara rushes off to the nearest police precinct to obtain one. Except for an afternoon, it did. It's not that the concept is entirely original (I remember seeing when I was young a movie series quite similar to this) but the amount of research needed for this story and the perfection with which it has been implemented turns this book into a real gem.
